Are you prepared when disaster strikes?

Is your group, organization, or business prepared for a disaster? Do you know what to do when disaster strikes? Do you have a plan or a 3 day emergency supply kit? If you're like most people, the answers to some or all of these questions is "no."

There is no reason for you to not be prepared! The Portland Office of Emergency Management has trained volunteers in the community from a variety of diverse backgrounds to come to your group's next meeting or function and teach you everything you need to know to be safe before and after a disaster strikes. Our volunteers will teach you about the different types of disasters that occur in the Portland Metro area, how you can make a safety plan for your household and workplace, how to build a 3 day emergency supply kit, and where you can go to get additional training to serve the needs of your community.
